I did not know what was going to happen when I was invited to Pet Fest by Stacy Busch-Heisserer of Busch’s Pet Products in Cape Girardeau, MO. She wanted me to teach people about pets and essential oils. As usual, I am up for the adventure, so I excepted with enthusiasm!

On the drive there I was able to see a woodchuck, fox and coyote. I love how God blesses me with nature to put everything in perspective. As we are looking to build up our pets… their body systems (digestive, immune, respiratory, etc) and their emotions I am so thankful we have these wonderful companions. I just don’t see myself bonding to a woodchuck.

When I arrived it was a hubbub of activity! My good friend, Clare Heisserer was waiting to help me set up. It was  little windy so we had to place book and rock strategically around so the papers didn’t blow off.

As I mentioned earlier, I didn’t know what to expect. We have done a fair amount of vendor shows and each is unique. Pet Fest topped them all! Let me tell you it was a blast!! There was a pet costume contest, a skills competition and a pet/owner look alike contest.

We had opportunity to visit with old friends while meeting new ones!! It was no surprise to see my good friend Nita Eichman there. She is a great dog trainer in the area.
This photo is her son, Zane, holding Lexi (the crocodile). There was also a dog dressed as a fly fisherman, Thing One from Dr. Seuss along with matching owner as Thing Two, a FedEx delivery driver along with matching dog owner and so many others! I was impressed with the creativity of all the attendees!

I am so glad we went.

To accommodate all our new friends we will have an Intro to Essential Oils Class on Wednesday at 7 pm and Pets and Essential Oils on Sunday at 2 pm. Location to be determined so watch your emails.
