Essential Oils are powerful plant extracts. I like to think of them as the immune system of the plant. We first started using Thieves Essential Oil back in fall of 2006 to boost my immune system. The story gets quite long after that but is summarized by we are still using them today and after several amazing events are so impressed we started sharing them with others. We want you to benefit from these amazing essential oils, too.

When we use essential oils we get to boost our body’s systems. That is so vague and hard to understand but read the list below and you will start to see how a small dysfunction can affect a much larger system. For example, if your hormones are out of wack than your endocrine system is. Look for ways your body needs help below.

Your body’s systems are comprised of:

  1. Circulatory or Cardiovascular. It circulates blood throughout your body delivering oxygen, nutrients, hormones and carrying waste away.
  2. Digestive. From your mouth and all the way out, its the part of your body that breaks down the food for proper vitamin and mineral absorption. If it isn’t working everything else in your body will stop working too.
  3. Endocrine. This is all the glands and organs that produce hormones. If they aren’t working you will be fatigued, sleepless, with no energy, and your emotions will need an overhaul.
  4. Immune. Your bodies defensive system to keep you healthy. If it starts to fail you will be sick regularly or even worse.
  5. Lymphatic. Carries nutrients around circulates fluids and carries away waste it’s also responsible for producing white blood cells and antibodies. When dysfunctional you will be sick.
  6. Muscular. This seems obvious as it is the part of your body that helps you move around. Pain is an obvious indicator of a malfunction of the muscular system.
  7. Nervous. One of the most important systems and your body that sends and receives nerve impulses telling your muscles and organs what to do. It is split into three different sections: Central nervous system, Peripheral nervous system, Autonomic nervous system.
  8. Reproductive. Useful for producing children. 🙂
  9. Respiratory. Bringing the body much needed oxygen and removing carbon dioxide. If you have trouble breathing you know how respiratory disfunction slows you down.
  10. Skeletal. These are the bones, ligaments and tendons that protect your body organs.
  11. Urinary or Excretory. Used to eliminate waste from the body, via urine or blood.
  12. Integumetary. This is your out your covering; Hair, skin, nails to protect you from your outdoor environment.

To be in optimal health we must have all the systems in our body operating well. We will be exploring how to support each of these systems with essential oils so you will be empowered with all the tools needed for optimal health.
