What a crazy life we lead sometimes. This little calf, Katydid, needed some extra loving so our sweet granddaughter came to the rescue after a traumatic birth experience. This isn’t the first nor will it be the last calf.
Compassion
Having compassion and serving others is part of the job. This is the part the kids really get into. I suppose because the calves are just so helpless. Katydid was even a little premature, not able to walk or take a bottle. I am go grateful the Lord has given us so many opportunities to practice compassion and teach it to our children.
Praise God, Katydid recovered in just a few hours and is doing just fine now. What a champ!
